It's Wednesday again. Today is supposed to be hot. Hopefully we don't have too many more days of that kind of weather. Cool as the summer has been, I'm still ready for autumn.

My sound system came in! My parents and I went down to get it Saturday morning, and spent most of the afternoon setting up all the speakers and such. I'm still missing a couple video cables, but managed to route everything around my VCR for the time being. That way I can still watch TV, just not record from it. Which is all good since they're taking Star Trek off Spike TV's schedule for the time being, starting next week. At any rate, I'm loving the 5.1 surround-sound effect. It's a Kenwood system, a step up from a theater-in-a-box because it's upgradeable; all the speakers and the sub are replaceable. Total system power is 5x100+100=600, or something like that. The sub is self-powered. Makes a world of a difference. Unfortunately, I can only use it at about a third its power at the most, because of living in an apartment environment. What a lovely thing it will be to move into a duplex or even a house.

Life goes on. My commitment to God has undergone an amazing change since my baptism. It was only a symbolic event of course; but things are different now. Things are better. God apparently knows best.
